My old blog had a huge amount of comments, many of them were crude and malicious. Most of the comments were about the rumor about Ciara being a man. Let’s try and raise the bar a bit for this one girls.

Kelly Clarkson’s guitarist is Isreali and began lobbying for her to come to Isreal almost as soon as their working relationship began. On March 26th and 27th she will be making Danny Weissfeld and thousands of other Isrealis happy.
I’m not absolutely certain of this, but I think many international pop stars leave Isreal out of their tour schedule for the same reasons that us regular people are advised against getting an Isreali stamp on our passports.
MSNBC published the stuff Kanye West said after an interview in which he confessed to having porn up on his screen ‘at all times’.

The Church Of Scientology has lots of celebrities. That’s not that unusual, lot’s of celebrities are active members of the various religions that humanity has thought up. The difference is that they don’t make it part of their public identity.
When I heard that Tom Cruise was at the pre-Grammy Kanye West gig, throwing out superlatives loud enough for MTV to quote, I was concerned that Tom was grooming Kanye.
I think a personality like Kanye is something that that church covets. They tried to get Elvis Presley. I’m not saying self destruction was a better decision, but here’s what ‘the King’ reportedly had to say about Scientology:

It’s looking like John Travolta will play J.R. in this inevitable movie. There’s a cycle in my household, I have an joke I make about what the next remake will be. This joke is so ridiculous that it couldn’t possibly come true, but it almost invariably does.
I have a brief period of amusement before I realize that I have to think up a new joke.

Several advertising companies got together to create a recurring theme for this year’s Superbowl commercials. That theme was unexpected and socially inappropriate tackling.
Yes, it was kinda funny, until it crossed a line. The ad for Disney’s remake of ‘The Shaggy Dog’ shows Tim Allen sending an elderly lady flying. In keeping with the theme, there is a slow motion replay.
I think the AARP should call for a boycott of this movie. Is it possible that Dick Cheney saw this commercial and thought that if pushing an septuagenarian was good for a chuckle that shooting one in the face would be hilarious?
The most interesting thing I could find related to this story was an IMDB board discussing who would/should play Magnum. You have to sign up to see it.

On an opinionated note, Tom Selleck has been a much better person in the face of rumors and jokes about his sexual orientation than some other actors. I think it is entirely possible that he is not gay.
According to reports, Angelina Jolie has gained 12 pounds between prenatal checkups. That is not as much as her doctors would like to see, as she was below her ideal weight at the start of her pregnancy.
Her boyfriend Brad Pitt has reportedly been urging her to take a break from her busy schedule.
This is not one of those skinny celebrity stories. Obstetricians are quite specific about ideal weight gain during pregnancy and will make stern recommendations to women on either side of this ideal.
