Jessica Simpson Steals Baywatch Role From Rival Miss Piggy
The actual grueling audition process was videotaped and is going to be made into a reality show.
When the producers of the upcoming movie version of Baywatch were looking for someone to play the role made famous by Pamela Anderson, they knew she had to be a MAMMAL, preferably a talking one.
Miss Piggy had experience in the role, having acted in a spin-off called Bay of Pigs Watch. I think the decision basically came down to character, Miss Piggy had the the poor judgement to orchestrate a ‘wardrobe malfunction’ that resulted in two of her right nipples being exposed. And she lies about her age. Her friendster profile says she is nineteen, but she made her TV debut in 1977.
