Look Out, There’s POOH on the Sidewalk
Winnie The Pooh gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The funny smell is actually coming from the adjacent Tim Allen star.
The original Winnie was a orphaned Canadian black bear that an army soldier bought at a train station and brought to wartime Europe as a mascot. Christopher Milne befriended the bear at a London zoo while the Canadian regiment was fighting and dying in WWI France. A. A. Milne wrote short stories based on this friendship.
