Is US Citizenship Something Angelina Jolie Doesn’t Want for Her Child ?
The perception is that everyone in the World wants to be a US citizen, but the child born to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will be a special case. Given the size of the American market ,it is doubtful that either entertainer will say as much, but they may want to have the child delivered outside of the USA to keep their options open.
With very few exceptions, anyone born in the United States is an automatic citizen. American citizens pay federal income tax whether they live within the country or not. They have been drafted into the army in the past, and may well be again.

That is not true. One, for the birth to be registered as an U.S. citizen, the birth certificate has to be registered at the U.S. embassy. Because they haven’t married, the Jolie-Pitt are going to have to registered him or her as an U.S. citizen. America does not beleve in dual citizenship. Two, not all Americans living outside the U.S. pays federal taxes. If you live more than 6 months outside the U.S,. you do not pay federal income tax. Once you come back to the states, Uncle Sam is going to hit you with a bill. Third, I doubt Angelina Jolie has a permanent home address in the states.

Thanks for the input, I’m not any kind of expert, I was just seeing if my rant would spark a discussion.
