Mel Gibson was stopped by L.A. County sheriff’s deputies in Malibu about 2:30 a.m. He was cited and released on $5,000 bond, said sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

and that the deputy mistakenly thought that his speech was slurred?
Anyway, Mel, don’t worry. The same thing happened to Tom Wopat and it was only in the news for one day.
