Update: HotSoup is ready and it smells pretty good.
HotSoup is having the issues with their site launch. Many potential contributors to this brand new community are probably doing what I am doing. I am sporadically checking the functionality of the site, but I haven’t begun to try in earnest to use the site.

As well as the technical glitches, I think visitors aren’t seeing much activity from the high profile participants that are responsible for much of the buzz surrounding HotSoup. Maybe the partisan strategists and politicians are just a tad too busy with the upcoming election.

I would expect things to tip early and in a big way with this site. If it is active and functional enough to be seen as a tool for political debate before the election, it will explode with activity. If things don’t take off until after November 7th, the build may be a little bit slower.
