We’ve seen several other celebrities go through the same steps leading up to the release of a sex tape:

1. Protest
2. Protest
3. Protest
4. Profit

As far as i can see, no further damage will be done to Britney’s reputation when the video is sold to the people who want to see it. Anyone who is paying attention is 99.44% sure that she really did participate in the making of a sex tape. She was married to Kevin and she is the opposite sex of Kevin, so even evangelical conservatives will be able to enjoy the action.

Here’s a snippet from a submitted review of Chaotic:

“Britney, please, stop talking about the ‘great sex’ you have had with Kevin and asking your tour member’s favourite ‘position’. I suppose I’m a bit of a vintage Britney fan, I kinda liked it when she was all innocent and virginal so all this ‘in-your-face’ dirty talk kinda put me off. Especially when she’s talking about how she and her rat-faced boyfriend Kevin have been doing ‘it’ all day long. Ew”

So, maybe Britney will lose a few fans, although the above critic bought the DVD and recommended it to others.

The only thing I am curious about is format. Is it really a tape, or is it on a disc or memory card of some sort?
