At some point in the next few weeks you might be with bored and/or drunk people who decide to see if anybody knows the names of all of Santa’s reindeer. Because I want to help you my loyal reader, and because I just found out that the poem is public domain…here they are with some extra verse to put it all in context:

“Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On! Comet, on! Cupid, on! Dunder and Blitzen–
To the top of the porch, to the top of the wall!
Now, dash away, dash away, dash away all!”

Dunder, that’s the one everybody forgets. Is that even a real name?
