<description>Great posting! It's good to see that you're trying to help parents to help their teens. It's important that parents stay informed and stay active in maintaining a relationship with their teen that allows for discussions about drug abuse. Teens live in a world where drugs are present in so many places and it's important that parents understand this.

I wrote a blog post awhile back that focuses on helping parents to actually talk to their teens: it can be awkward or hard to talk to your teen about certain subjects. The goal of my article was to give parents a bit of a blueprint for talking to their teens about drug abuse.

The article is at http://understandmyteen.com/blog/teen-drug-abuse-prevention-starts-with-parents-part-i.html and I think it would be a good supplementary tool to this posting in your blog.

GREAT posting. Keep up the great work.
