I just spent the day moving all our workstations out of what used to be the spare bedroom. We have more family coming to stay with us soon. So I can look out the window from my desk at the distant sea view that accounts for some of our quality of life.

These days, I see kite surfers a lot. I am fascinated by this sport, but I am not sure if I want to try it. It seems like you could end up way out at sea. I guess if you have a spotter on land, they can call a boat for you, but that would be embarassing. In some ways, it is closer to water skiing than it is to surfing, since you are being pulled rather than pushed.

This waterskiing news blog doesn’t cover any kite surfing stuff. They do include wakeboarding, which is another thing I have wanted to try. I think anything that involves airtime intrigues and scares me at the same time.
