I have performed a few experiments with YouTube. I am still pretty much a novice what with not having a video camera.

My most viewed YouTube video ever was still a failure by most people’s standards, 1,100 views and slowing to a crawl after a week. But I did get some satisfaction out of it in the comments section. A member expressed his disappointment with my video using some very strong language. I used it as constructive criticism and made a new video in response. He actually apologized for his harsh comment. That made me happy.
