The Death Of The Death of Irony
I’m not talking about the April 1st launch of Alanis Morissette’s Humps. I am talking about this weekend when thousands of people in North America paid seven bucks for a movie ticket and ten bucks for a drink and snacks before heading into the smelly dark to watch a movie that stars a drink…and snacks.
I don’t think I would have jumped at the chance to watch “Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters”. Maybe if Jim Belusi had been alive to provide his voice talents for the meatball.
Salon deigned to review this highbrow endeavor, I enjoyed the review a little bit.
