It goes without saying that I own and use a digital camera. I use mine to take a self portrait every Sunday to post on this blog. I use it to take pictures of products for my business blog.

I use it to take family pictures as well. These days, I don’t go running for my camera when there is something cool happening out in the World. I have a coworker who has one of the best SLR digital cameras available today. We had a flock of Bee Eaters flying around in front of our place one day, it was amazing. He has a very good telephoto lens and he got some great shots. He uses a Nikon. I would love to own a Nikon digital SLR so that I could try to take pictures that I could sell. I live amid very beautiful and historically rich surroundings.

My point and shoot is a Kodak 1.3 megapixel camera. This is the best picture that I have ever taken with it:

For me, the act of taking a photograph is simply capturing a visual moment to share with others.
