Many people may have never heard of this before. In some of the hot regions where coffee first became popular, people sometimes brew coffee using the heat of the sun. A special, heavily built container called an ibrik was placed outside in the hot sand with water and coffee grounds. I was reminded of this after seeing a picture of Turkish Coffee.

Turkish coffee is the finest ground coffee.

The iBrik was actually the first revolutionary technology to use the branding technique of the lower case i . Steve Jobs stole the idea from the Turks.
