Creative Writing Contest
A simple contest for bloggers and non-bloggers alike:
Find a drawing related to a patent application and use it in anyway you choose as the basis for a short work of fiction. You can either write 150 words or more in a comment or just leave a link to a blog post.
To quote Wikipedia:
“In most countries, the text and illustrations of patents are excused for copyright and can be considered to be in the public domain.”
The contest is open until October 1st. I will choose the best entry and award them $6 or an undisclosed object to be delivered by mail , whichever the winner would prefer. All contests must have rules. Here is a rule…

worked at lots of factories that ripped off other peoples patents.
wesstinghouse, never invented the westinghouse on off switch,, it was a german design. so was the vectrol i was working on. controls energy, starts motors softly… a meter cheater.
worked at a place that would steal anything not nailed down by having a lawyer and post office in rhode island and washington.
now,, what will i do? i have a capacitor that once charged can capture and hold gravity. it is a gravity laser. i can dial gravity down or up.
now where do i go with this?
