Green Thumb Sunday: Artichoke
Artichoke season is finally here. We had a couple of very overpriced flower buds a week ago, boiled with butter. This is a picture that I took a few weeks ago of some that were missed last year. Not very appetizing but kinda pretty.
I don’t know how easy it would be to grow these from seed, but I know where to get plenty of seeds.

The seed pods do make a pretty photo. Folks around here grow them from seed, and use the plant as an ornamental rather than for the artichoke.
Happy GTS,
