Remember to ridiculous faux standoff between 50 Cent and Kanye West at some awards show?
If you had any interest in it at all, you know that there was this thing where Fiddy said that he would retire if his album didn’t outsell Kanye’s. Fiddy lost.
50 Cent may think he is uncontested by other big name rappers in the realm of video games. He is blissfully unaware that the hugely popular online Furry game called Furcadia is controlled by none other that Kanye West. This completely unaltered screenshot proves it.
Unworthy Adversaries
Maybe my title is a little harsh, but I want to state clearly that I see through the ’showdown’ that is being staged between 50 Cent and Kanye West. It is only different from Madonna and Britney kissing in a few subtle ways. The main difference is that I am not even slightly aroused by it.
Kanye should have stuck with his anti-Bush shtick.
U.S.A.D.D.
There is a phenomenon that some celebrities rely on and others dread. The American public has a very short attention span. I was looking at the list of celebrities that I considered worthy of their own category back when this blog was primarily celebrity news and gossip. Many of them do not enter the consciousness of a typical American on even a weekly basis anymore. I don’t watch television. Maybe those various shows that have a capital E in the title remind people.
My point is Britney Spears and lesser entities like Lindsay Lohan use public misbehavior as a device to maintain the public interest. Britney protests the attention, but I think she lives in constant fear of losing it. People like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie live their lives largely in private and are talked about less and less in the tabloids and elsewhere despite the immeasurable degree to which their relationship initially captured the public imagination
A Serious Documentary About Buying Condoms
I don’t have a Tom Green category on my blog even though I tend to mention him once or twice every few months. I am sticking this video from back in the 90’s when he was funny in the categories of all the single and/or promiscuous celebrities that he has a remote chance of having sex with. He might be irrelevant and bitter and irritable, but at least he is quite likely to have condoms. If they are the ones he bought in this video, get him to check the expiry date on the box. Kanye West Involved in a Movie Project
Kanye isn’t jumping right in to the movie business like Eminem and 50 cent. He will write and act in a segment of a multi-writer, multi-director collaboration that hopes to portray life in America.
The movie will also feature new and old Kanye West music.
All Kanye’s previous film experience consists of uncredited ‘Furry’ roles.
Kanye West Responds To 50 Cent’s Critique
A few months ago, 50 Cent basically said that Kanye owed his success to his being a non-threatening, watered down alternative to 50 Cent. It was kinda like saying “I’m NWA and you’re Vanilla Ice.”
Kanye West did not lash back immediately. Like they say, living well is the best revenge.
Kanye used some careful language to address 50 Cent’s comments in a recent interview.
“When someone gives their opinion I respect that more. I would rather someone not like me and say they don’t like my music than someone lie to my face and say they do like it. I’m in this position, I can’t even say who I like or don’t like anymore. The reason I don’t is that I know I have influence over people; I wouldn’t want their record sales to go down. I wouldn’t wanna bring anybody down. So I keep my opinions to myself or just to my inner circle.“
Kanye West Likes Porn
MSNBC published the stuff Kanye West said after an interview in which he confessed to having porn up on his screen ‘at all times’.
It seems he’s not obsessed, he just really likes it.

Is Tom Cruise Courting Kanye West For Scientology ?
The Church Of Scientology has lots of celebrities. That’s not that unusual, lot’s of celebrities are active members of the various religions that humanity has thought up. The difference is that they don’t make it part of their public identity.
When I heard that Tom Cruise was at the pre-Grammy Kanye West gig, throwing out superlatives loud enough for MTV to quote, I was concerned that Tom was grooming Kanye.
I think a personality like Kanye is something that that church covets. They tried to get Elvis Presley. I’m not saying self destruction was a better decision, but here’s what ‘the King’ reportedly had to say about Scientology:
“They’re just after my money and my name.”
