George W. Bush and John Kerry aren’t going to be too happy about this. I am going to expose the secret of the infamous ‘Skull and Bones Society.’

First I am going to show you the secret hide-out:

There is no secret. They are just a group of white rich dudes with a huge collective sense of entitlement. They propagate exclusivity for its own sake. They are like the 19th century version of Mac users, but gayer.

Give Me Shelter

Of all the bare necessities of life, shelter is the only one that typically requires that humans take out a mortgage to obtain. Food grows on trees by comparison. Water falls down from the sky. If houses fell down from the sky, we might have reason to be concerned. OK, before I start reminiscing about tree houses, I’m going to get back to talking seriously…

I live in an area where the market is pretty hot still. I choose to rent, because the prices for housing are out of my reach. That could change, and if it does I will be in the market for cheap mortgages. I should review the present situation and try to predict whether fixed rate mortgages are the best option at the present time. I am quite concerned about the people who are looking for remortgages with the present situation. OK, I’m thinking about tree houses again. It is really past my bedtime.

Hey, I just read that there are 20 businesses in North America and Europe that specialize in building tree houses.

‘HIPS’ Wrap All the Red Tape into One Tidy Package

Posted in Real Estate by totaldis on the September 1st, 2007

June of 2007 saw a big change in the way UK home buyers carry out a transaction. Change is always stressful, but this change was made to rectify an almost untenable situation that was putting far too many real estate transactions off the rails.

Home Information Packs (HIPS) are a simplification that will hopefully bring the satisfaction rate up a bit from the 10% that was a stark reality before the change. EasyHomeInformationPacks.org.uk is an independent blog that has the goal of educating consumers about HIPS.
