The scientologists Broke my Browser!
After watching the following video, I decided to check out the address of the Orlando scientology office on Google Maps.
When I saw that there was Street Level available for the location, I had to click on it. While I was checking out the area, something wonky happened. I blame scientology. Here is a screen cap…
I have never had this happen to me before. Ok, so I have never used Firefox with Street Level before, but that is BESIDE THE POINT!!!
The video gets a little old after awhile, I would suggest playing this one at the same time to make it less boring.
My Tom Cruise Doppelgänger Experience
According to most sources, a Doppelgänger is a sinister form of bi location. I always suspected that Tom Cruise was at the very least bi, but SINISTER?
No, the guy with the eyes of Tom Cruise and that weird, confident, smiley expression that offered me a free personality test on O’Connell Street in Dublin on Monday evening was not at all sinister. I pleaded with my wife to let me take him up on his offer as we waited at the crosswalk for the little green man to light up. We had a bus to catch so she was not very amenable to the idea.
He didn’t look EXACTLY like Tom Cruise. He looked like Tom Cruise with strawberry blond hair, which in retrospect does seem a bit sinister.
An Unauthorized Review of the Tom Cruise Biography
Bert Fields, the attorney for Tom Cruise has branched out into the field of literary review. He had the following thing to say about Tom Cruise, An Unauthorized Biography…
It’s a boring, poorly researched book by a man who never talked to anyone involved in Tom Cruise’s life or anyone close to him. There’s no real independent research. He hasn’t spoken to his mother, his sister, me, Paula Wagner, his agent, his wives, David Beckham, Will Smith, Jennifer Lopez or any of the famous directors he’s worked with. Instead you’ve got this long, boring reference to people he knew 30 years ago.”
I don’t think we are going to see that quote on the dust jacket, even though the fact that Tom’s lawyer is giving interviews makes me want to read the book more. I don’t want to read it badly enough to go out and BUY it. I think I will wait for the movie to come out. I think they should get David Spade to play Tom.
The lawyer is a very smart man, he actually figured out that the content of this book has been crafted in a deliberate attempt to entice people to buy the book. That is just wrong.
Scientology is 98% like Christianity ???
Will Smith is quoted as saying that 98% of the stuff that Tom Cruise is telling him about scientology is the same as what he knows about the Bible. Here is the other 2% courtesy of South Park.
Will Smith has consistently denied being directly involved with this cult, saying that he stayed out of it out of respect for his devotedly Christian grandmother. Sonny Bono, who was in fact a member of CoS, always put down Roman Catholic on any form that asked about his religion.
I think courting a celebrity spokesman that won’t even admit to buying what he is selling is not a very smart move on Tom’s part, although Will’s lukewarm endorsement can probably be reheated by scientology recruiters that are trying to bring in fresh bodies and funds from previously untapped regions. scientology is 98% about lying.
The Worst Time to Suffer From Paranoia
The Worst Time to Suffer From Paranoia is when people are out to get you. I spent an hour pouring over the long Vanity Fair article about the tragic last days of an artistic power couple who had fled Hollywood for New York after a weird series of events and then committed suicide in separate events. The main theme running through the story is that two people who were very much in love had both descended into mental illness. One of the main targets of Theresa Duncan’s paranoia was the church of scientology. It is unclear as to whether there was any actual threat. Any correspondence coming from anyone involved with scientology could be put in the context of justifiable denials and pushback. Given the fact that there are powerful people in Hollywood who belong to this cult, I believe that there probably was some level of malicious damage to the professional and social lives of Jeremy Blake and Theresa Duncan. Theresa Duncan’s story about befriending Beck and offering to help him escape the cult is dubious because of Beck’s denials, but it is interesting nonetheless.
scientology Can’t Cure Snoring
I was aghast to hear the report that Katie and Tom sleep separately because of Tom’s snoring. Isn’t scientology supposed to make us into people who are not encumbered with maladies as trifling and pointless as snoring and homosexuality?
I am beginning to have some doubts about the scientology way of life.
I think that the separate bedrooms thing is a bad idea and that one thing these two should try is having sex almost every evening…together. The endorphins we are rewarded with after sex help us fall asleep together. I have a partner who sometimes snores, and it a rare thing indeed for the snoring to disturb my sleep.
Bend It like Beck
Now that the Beckhams have moved to LA. This could result in some confusion because Beck (the eldest Hansen) is also a resident of that city.
I will contrast the two as a public service.
- Beckham had OCD and an OBE while Beck is just whack.
- Beck played at the music and arts festival Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tennessee on June 17, 2006 while Beckham played with Manchester United from 1992 to 2003.
- Beckham married somebody who is Scary and had a few kids. Beck married a second generation scientologist and has two children. His wife has a personal website hosted by scientology.
- The Beckhams are going to be neighbors of the Cruise family. I don’t know where Beck lives.
Oh, the scientology thing… I am beginning to see through the seemingly innocent friendship that Tom Cruise has fostered with the super famous and widely admired sports star (Beckham). I actually suspect that Beckham may be a target of this scientology cult. He has admitted that he has a psychological disorder, scientology likes to pretend to fix these.
Here is a telling little detail about how scientology is promoted. Becks wife is a second generation scientologist just like Beck, but her ’success story’ on her scientology run web page makes it sound like she was a lost and aimless young woman who was lucky to find the cult. THEY ARE LIARS. I can say that with impunity because truth is an absolute defense.
Sharon Stone: The Celebrity That Scientology Didn’t Want
Sharon Stone has recently been quoted as being critical of psychiatry. This lead me, the only blogger on the internet who does research, to try and determine her relationship to scientology.
The story is that she left Scientology and converted to Buddhism, after she had been introduced to the Dalai Lama by Richard Gere. But don’t believe ANY rumors about Richard Gere that I read on the internet. I think it is quite possible that scientologist audits can measure certain personality traits accurately and that her ‘Whack’ level was off the scale.
Oh, and Sharon Stone has a vagina.
Brad Pitt Said No To Scientology
I am writing this post for the second time. Either I am technically inept, or Bill Gates is a Scientologist. Anyway, he recorded my keystrokes, so he can tell you it is the former.
Brad Pitt is a bit of a chameleon, in that he takes on the style and the interests of his life partners. Juliette Lewis was once his girlfriend and she is a scientologist. Brad went to some scientology classes, he had a crazy teacher who wore dark glasses. He pulled away from it when the pressure started. The quotes I could find attribute his decision to their desire to get a large chunk of his money.
My advice to those with an interest in the issue of celebrity scientologists is to be skeptical of lists. Some of these lists include people like Brad who just looked into it and decided (wisely IMO) to stay away from it. Also there are lists of ex-scientologists and critics of scientology that include people who had a passing interest and have never said anything against it.
I don’t want Beck to be on the list of scientologists.
I Was Wrong: Tom Cruise Did Not Get Blogger To Take My Old Blogs Down
I had gotten this blog up and running and was still firing off emails to support at blogger when I posted this entry. I didn’t really believe what I wrote, but nevertheless I feel I owe the guy an apology, now that Samantha, a nice apologetic sweetie at Blogger undeleted my months and months of work. Thankyou.
The reason I suspected his involvement was this blog entry.
I did infringe on the copyrights of Jesus and God that week too, but hey what’re they gonna do?
