I think the only way to figure out which blogger is Karl is by process of elimination. I am pretty sure PerezHilton.com isn’t written by Karl Rove. He’s not the fake Steve Jobs either. If you are a blogger and you are NOT Karl Rove, please leave a comment.

Oh, while you’re at it, please comment on my theory that the political genius has chosen to do a stint as a regular citizen at the end of this cycle because he has crunched the numbers and he KNOWS that McCain is going to lose. If he can find the magic bullet to take Obama down and he hands it to the official McCain team, maybe he can be the Golden Boy of Evil politics again. If not, he doesn’t get any loss cooties on him.

BTW, have you heard that Toby Keith has a come out in support of Obama. I think that is kinda cool, but I am a bit leery about the accuracy of my source. Perez Hilton calls his poorly drawn depictions of cocaine and semen ’satire’ and it seems remotely possible that he is capable of actual satire. Toby Keith was recently interviewed by America’s worst right wing pundit as voted by his peers and he did mention the fact that he was a lifelong Democrat. A real journalist would have asked him if he had voted for Kerry, or even asked who he supported in this cycle. Beck wanted to break the record for most times saying “boot in your ass” in 20 minutes.

Ok, I looked it up and Toby is quoted in real news sites praising Obama.

A scene that I keep recalling involves Andy’s agent complaining about Andy and Bob concocting gags that are only funny to two people on the entire planet. I identified with that scene. On that note, here is something that I just spent a few minutes of my life creating…

I used to have a copy of Where the Wild Things Are when I was a kid. Maurice Sendak’s artwork had me transfixed on more than one occasion. The suits in Hollywood have been cashing in on films based on characters from my childhood books for several years now and it’s not surprising that they wanted to mess with this one as well. What is surprising is that the film has been shelved. This isn’t the first aborted work by writer Dave Eggers. He tried to impress us several years ago by writing a politically charged novel and releasing it to the public in draft form as he wrote. I was reading it and I was more let down by the direction it was taking than by the fact that it came to a screeching halt.

Being part of a $115 million film project that may never see the light of day is a bigger deal than that novel. I do not know if his contribution contributed to the decision by Warner. Spike Jonze is the director of this non-starter. He filmed a documentary on Al Gore that was slated to play at the 2000 Democratic National Convention. It was not shown and Al Gore didn’t win the election handily enough to become President. Dave Eggers has connected those dots ( I think that’s a bit of a stretch).

I couldn’t think of anything really funny to write to tie this film to the WildThings erotic thrillers. The first WildThings movie features a cameo performance by Kevin Bacon’s Penis.

A hip hop soundtrack could have made such a difference. Turn the sound down on the big movie and play them both at the same time

If this argumentative game show contestant is indicative of the national character of these people, I think we should worry about them more than we worry about Iran. This incident may be the cuase of their drop from 1st to 3rd on the Global Peace Index.

There are dozens of amateur videos whose titles indicate that they are a cover of the Black Crowes song Hard to Handle. I was a big fan during this band’s heyday and, as a fan, I made it my business to educate myself. This song, and a few other Black Crowes songs are from Otis Redding. I have to get over my indignation, because all classic rock songs will soon be identified by which version of Guitar Hero they appear on

The Evolution of Dance guy deserves to have the most viewed YouTube video of all time. As of recently, he doesn’t. An Avril Lavigne fanclub colluded to use auto-refresh to get her lame video to the top. The Avril Lavigne fan club sucks and their dads should demand to have their ties back after this travesty.

Baby Tickers are all the rage on blogs these days. I can never know what it is like to feel another person growing inside of me and so I decided to make my own widget. I have lived more days than I have left. That’s a happy thought.
